Sun Poker operates on average software, and the low functionality can be a bit of a pain. And it has to be said, the graphics aren’t the best. Despite this, loads of people play here at all stakes; low, medium and high. Sun Poker’s tournament list could be better too, but if you’re in it for the love of poker that won’t bother you. Last time we visited the competition was pretty tight – all in all an interesting room but they’re not worrying the big boys… yet!

Sun Poker uses WaterLogic software, trusted and rock solid after years of perfecting and tweaking. But we have to say, it has started to look a bit old fashioned. Sun’s lobby is basic with very few features. You can’t sort different stakes and limits. Their table’s better but nowhere near as good as some of the other top 20 rooms. Only bits and bobs are customisable. But we’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – smart graphics and slick interfaces aren’t everything. Serious poker players will turn up wherever there’s a challenge to be found.
